Broadlook Diver Review: What to do with all of those Google results

I am not a search engine expert and I'd have to listen to a few more Shally Steckerl lessons on search strings to effectively find candidates through Google, but if I did use that in my recruiting repertoire, I would consider Broadlook Technologies' Diver application to be an absolute necessity. Here are some snippets from a marketing slick:

Diver was built for the recruiter/researcher/sourcer/sales rep that uses search engines to find candidates and contacts. Part browser, part high speed information parser; Diver rips through search engine results pages (SERPs) like a puppy through a pair of slippers.

Diver's built to work just like you do, using popular search engines as a data source. So, whether you merely “google for resumes” or you're a boolean string blackbelt, you can easily use Diver.

Simply put your search criteria into the engine like you normally do and conduct a search.

Diver then scans through each result link, and pulls out all contact, and resume information.
You can then export the information to your CRM, ATS, or even Excel, or Outlook. You can even save favorite searches as 'bookmarks' and run them on a continual basis.

For a video demonstration of Diver in action, click on their logo at the bottom of my page. Broadlook offers a veritable horde of packages and deals, but the standalone retail price of Diver is $1,995 (mention this blog for a discount). There are only a few competitors to this product that I'm aware of. TalentHook and infoGIST both have open web queries that have a similar concept, but I really like the specific functionality of Diver.

Have you used Diver or another similar product? Share your experiences!

Really appreciate the topics you blog about.

Diver *sigh* great product! No ability to export the results (Resumes) to batch import into your ATS. WTF? How could they miss this..

Tech support say Future Release.

This is standard in InfoGist and TalentHook.
